           The Rotary Club of Oceanside is a proud part of a large family of over 1.2 million Rotarians from over 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries worldwide.  Rotary is made up of both business and professional leaders that provide humanitarian services and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations.  As signified by the motto "Service above Self" the Rotary's main objective is service  not limited too but including our local community and workplace. The Rotary theme for the 2008-2009 is to "Make Dreams Real"!  During this year Rotary will MAKE DREAMS REAL for the children of the world through both projects that reduce childhood mortality and a strong determination on fulfilling the promise of eradicating the polio virus.  Rotary will also MAKE DREAMS REAL for the adults of the world with a strong belief and use of community and international projects that will provide the tools to improve their lives. This will be accomplished with the illustrious passion of the Rotarians who put their heart and soul into various projects and programs!

The Oceanside Rotary Club was founded in 1924 and currently lists approximately 80 active members.Our current and past membership can boast many Business and Community Leaders from the North County area but more specifically the beautiful City of Oceanside.Our local Rotarians share their talents both internationally and locally.  In 2008-2009 we will be hosting the annual "Crabfest"; in which the Oceanside Rotary Club will raise thousands of dollars specifically for local charities.In addition to that we will partner with other local Rotary clubs in our annual Golf Tournament to raise money for our local schools. Along with the previously mentioned fundraisers many of our Rotarians will volunteer their time on a monthly basis to deliver food on behalf Angel's Depot to some of the Oceanside seniors in need.We will be hosting our second annual Ethics Conference, in which local students and teachers will be invited to participate.These activities paired with a host of others will aide us in MAKING DREAMS REAL in Oceanside!

Simply put if you’re one that enjoys networking and being involved in your community along with many talented individuals, this is the club to join! We're looking for motivated individuals who are willing to share a little bit of their time and talent to better serve our community and those within it. If you're interested in having fun please join us at our weekly luncheon every Friday at noon at the El Camino Real Country Club.
